MANCHESTER UNITED SCORED 100 GOALS IN 2019/20 SO FAR, WHO'S THE TOP SCORER?

Manchester United has now reached 100 goals in 2019/2020 so far. Paul Pogba’s second-half strike against Aston Villa on Thursday means Manchester United have now reached 100 goals in all competitions in 2019/20.

The United are the third Premier League club after Manchester City and Liverpool to rack up the century, and could significantly add to their tally, with four top-flight matches, plus, at the very least, two cup games still to play.

It’s only the third time in the last seven seasons that they have reached triple figures for total goals scored, and 2016/17’s final tally of 105 strikes could be ousted before the campaign is out – although the all-time club record of 143 recorded during the 1956/57 campaign is still some way off!

Here’s a breakdown of how Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side have racked up a ton this season, starting with who has made it on to the scoresheet…

COMPETITION THE GOALS WERE RECORDED

As you might expect, the majority of the Reds’ strikes have come in the Premier League, with our recent goal glut since the restart moving us on to 59 in the goals-for column. Consecutive 5-0 wins, over Club Brugge and LASK, in the Europa League, mean we’ve now hit 21 in continental competition. The remaining 20 goals are split between the domestic cup competitions, with 12 arriving in the Emirates FA Cup and eight in the Carabao Cup.
